Summary
After failing his PhD defense, Gerard Way is in need of a job. His first job, actually. With no real experience in a terrible job market, Gerard's options are limited. The only place that will give him work is a family-owned pizza restaurant, managed by the owner's son, Frank. Iero's is beloved by all members of the community, especially a group of college-kids who frequent the shop for after-hours punk shows in the dining room. After an incident of vandalism in the restaurant's bathroom, tensions between the owner, Cheech, and the punks rise. Gerard might just have a solution.

Summary
It has been a lifetime since Frank and Gerard were together. 22 years to be precise. In that time, Frank has become the father of three children and lost his wife to cancer. Gerard on the other hand has faded into near obscurity as he developed his career in comics and reared a child in secret.
