Summary
In 31 days Yoongi is going to debut a collaborative album with his best friend Yijeong. Except Dispatch has dropped a story of how Yoongi is cheating on his husband with his best friend. Now the internet is plastered with stories that Yoongi’s married to Yijeong and he’s cheating on him with Korea’s sweetheart, Jungkook. Except they got it wrong, Yoongi and Jungkook are married and Yijeong is his best friend. Also he’s never cheated on a partner in his life.

Instead due to an ankle injury he's now moving in with some friends of Jimin's friend and it's a little exciting but a lot terrifying. Two of them seem to have adopted him as their own son and the third one, the one Jungkook shares a bedroom with, hates his guts. But that's fine. He's 18 now and can definitely handle this. Probably.

He doesn't have time to figure out who is in love with him. The only solution he can come up with is just systematically going through everyone he knows until he finds the culprit. Though he hopes he does figure it out because it is unfortunately a matter of life or death for him.

For normal people getting a cryptic text from your partner along the lines of "there was a small mishap at work and maybe you should stop by but everything's probably fine" would be mildly concerning but probably fine. For Jungkook it's probably less fine. See, his absolutely amazing love of his life boyfriend is a witch. And when things go wrong at his magic shop, well, they go very wrong. And now Jungkook can't find his boyfriend but there is a cat. Yah definitely not fine because Jungkook is not a witch and he doesn't know how to turn someone back from being a cat.

2 years and 8 months ago Yoongi barely survived an abusive relationship. Now he feels stuck in his life and he's just existing with his 1.5 friends and a job that's OK at best. That is until he gets a comment on a fanfic he wrote 2 and 1/2 years ago from a man that seems just as lonely and depressed as he is. Maybe their friendship isn't conventional but for the first time in years Yoongi finally feels like his life is heading in the right direction.

How it’s supposed to work is sometime around the age of 12 a fae creature will show up and tell you you have magic. Maybe they show up a year early or even a couple years late. Time isn’t really important to creatures that are more or less ageless. Anyway, the fae creature shows up and then usually you go to magic school and eventually you wind up in a prestigious profession where you put your gifts to good use.
This is not how it goes for Min Yoongi. Yoongi’s companion shows up when he’s 28. It doesn’t go great and at this point he’s already lived 28 years without using magic so what’s the point now? He likes his life. It’s simple. He goes to work at the garage he owns with 2 of his closest friends, he sees his other two best friends all the time, and he has a cat (that ok can talk to him psychically but she’s still a cat… sort of).
And he’d continue living his nice, peaceful life if it wasn’t for the new law that just passed saying that everyone that has magical abilities needs to go to school for them. So now Yoongi’s stuck going to remedial magical school for the next 2 years. Which might not be all bad, especially considering the ridiculously attractive and endearingly sweet man that sits next to him.

Kim Taehyung thought he was bringing home a normal stray cat. But this cat is anything but normal and it’s outright hostile to almost anyone it meets. Which is weird because animals usually love him. Even in his work as a vet he manages to get the most surly and hostile of animals to warm up to him at least a little. But not this cat. No, this cat only has eyes for one person.
Jeon Jungkook is more of a dog person but this cat has definitely stolen his heart. He’s never become so close so quickly to anyone in his life (not even Jimin and Taehyung). Maybe the fact that he so easily dotes on the cat is a sign that he really does need a boyfriend. Maybe he’s just trying to fill the hole in his heart because his favourite customer hasn’t visited him at the cafe in a while.
Park Jimin knows in his heart that this is not a cat. The cat is too weird. There’s something going on and he’d definitely be out to prove it but nobody believes him. After all, some cats are just really weird, but in normal weird cat ways. This cat can spell words with the fridge magnets and seems to understand everything they’re saying.

Yoongi is being punished. That’s the only logical explanation of why he always has to train the new people at work. It’s likely the universe is probably punishing him along with the heteronormative patriarchal capitalist system, and maybe even his best friend is in on it. To be fair though, Seokjin probably has a valid reason, they have been best friends since they’re six. But it’s really cruel that the universe is also punishing him.
The new kid is… he’s not great. He’s nice but he’s stupid and Yoongi is at the end of his wits. A pretty face can only carry him so far. The only problem is everyone keeps insisting that he’s actually a really good guy and Yoongi should just chill out.

Yoongi is feeling a little exposed right now. Emotionally for sure. Maybe even spiritually. But the most prominent is definitely 100% physically. That’s probably because he suddenly finds himself sans pants and underwear standing in front of his picture window and locking eyes with a hot construction worker in the neighboring building.

Dick Grayson may be an adult but right now he needs an adult. An adultier adult. Someone who knows about dishwashers and coupons and Roombas. He’d also prefer if it’s an adult that won’t make too much fun of him. At least not in front of the other adults.
Jason Todd needs a friend. Yah he has friends. Yes, plural. But he can pretty much count them on one hand and he really only sees them when it’s end of the world type stuff. So yah he’d like someone to just binge Netflix with, cook for, and maybe name a Roomba with. He doesn’t even have a Roomba but he’d get one if it meant he didn’t spend every night alone eating microwave burritos.
