He grits just teeth, bracing himself for questions.
Izuku stares at him hard and long, and Katsuki doesn’t make eye contact. His mind scrambles for traction on any detail it thinks will give him an edge but it’s all just random shit. Izuku’s hair is wet. He’s holding an empty grocery bag. He’s wearing sandals in his own home. He’s not saying anything.
“Come on in then.”

Bakugou Katsuki likes to fight.
Well– he likes to win, actually. But a win is only worth a damn when you have to fight for it, and there’s only one person in this stupid class who actually can put up a fight against Katsuki. That’s why the guy makes a halfway decent sparring partner – Icyhot’s strong. Icyhot’s powerful. He makes every damn thing look effortless, but when Katsuki’s his opponent, he has to actually try for once.
So then– what the hell is he supposed to do when the half and half bastard stops trying?
Or: Bakugou and Todoroki have an arrangement to spar after school for stress relief. But when Todoroki starts looking and acting strangely, Bakugou starts to pay a little closer attention.

She froze, poker halted over her head for the worst strike yet. Her gaze bore into Katsuki. He hung to her attention like a lifeline. “Torture me instead,” he repeated, keeping his hoarse voice as calm as possible. “Come on, you know you want to see what it’s like to torture one of the best three in my damn class. Well, here I fucking am! You want entertainment? You want revenge? I’m the one you fucking want.”
In his experience, ‘entertainment’ was often in the form of breaking people’s will when it came to villains.
She wanted to break them, and she wanted to have fun with it. Katsuki would be a challenge she couldn't help herself from taking on.

The group get kidnapped.
It pretty much goes as you would expect; horribly. With a torturer as their kidnapper, no clues about their whereabouts whatsoever to the outside world and time quickly running out, they'll need as much luck as they can get to escape... let alone survive.
Katsuki isn't very lucky, but he's ready to fight Death himself if it means it'll save his friends.

He didn’t even have to yell, it was wild. And then he just ignored them and talked to me instead, and they just let him!

And then they just let me go with him, and he said we could go to my dorm room… or like, home, if I want, but if you're here, Deku, you can just call Auntie Inko and she can call my mom for me so I don’t get in trouble later,” he concluded happily.Bakugo gets hit with a de-aging quirk, and now a seven-year-old Kacchan is a reluctant guest of UA. Don't worry, though, Todoroki and Midoriya are happy to look after him.

“Yes. Yes, sir,” Shinsou said without hesitation, nodding eagerly, as though he feared the opportunity might slip away if he didn’t take it quickly.
Aizawa took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. “I'll take your word for that. But this is the last time I’m so forgiving. There won’t be a next.”
