Jax decides she's an easy target.
Maeve decides he's insufferable.
Between Caine's increasingly bizarre adventures, the growing unease that something about the Circus isn't quite right, and a rabbit who refuses to stop calling her "Princess," surviving each day becomes complicated in ways neither of them expects.
Unfortunately for Jax, it's much easier to annoy someone than it is to stop caring about them.
