    Crime and politics.

So, when his Editor-In-Chief, Gojo Satoru, decides to put him on a sports feature, highlighting some famous boxer known as Itadori Yuuji, Megumi can't help but consider quitting right then and there.

Seriously, what kind of story could come from that?

    Summary

Fushiguro Megumi is a poacher; a lethally trained hunter working to capture the last dregs of humanity to feed his vampiric clients and keep his sister safe. Megumi assumes that he will be hunting down his own kind for the end of his days until coven leader, Mahito, makes him an offer he can't refuse:

A man named Itadori Yuuji has fled the chains of the coven to try and disappear into the wilds of Japan, stealing an important vampiric relic in his escape. Megumi must find Itadori and return him to the coven alive, using whatever means necessary to gain his trust. Should Megumi fulfill their contract, he and his sister will receive full immunity from vampire-kind as they walk away from their dealings. One final contract.

But when Megumi does make contact with Itadori, he finds that doing his job comes with more complications than expected.

Dazai was facing away from the door, so he couldn’t see his new roommate, but Ango could, and his face went pale. That, coupled with the excessively aggressive entrance, told Dazai enough to know who it was.
Dazai sighed loftily and turned around slowly. “Hey there, shrimp,” he drawled. “You lost, or am I actually stuck with you?”
Motorcycle Guy dropped the two duffel bags he was holding. Dazai watched his face as it morphed from confusion, to recognition, and finally to anger. “You!”

    Summary

Satoru Gojo, a biomedical engineering major, believes cognition can be reduced to circuits, chemicals, and measurable systems. If you understand the neurons, you understand everything.

Suguru Geto, a psychology major, disagrees. Meaning, context, culture; none of it fits neatly inside a diagram.

An interdisciplinary course on neuroscience and psychology places them in the same lecture hall. University housing places them in the same dorm room. One semester. One space neither of them asked to share.

    neuroplasticity
    noun [ U ] - psychology - specialized
the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections in response to experience.
