He was supposed to be delivering grain. Instead, he spends three hours helping Megumi’s escaped hounds dig up the royal rose garden and then offers Megumi half of a squished meat bun as an apology.
Megumi is determined to hate him. It would be a lot easier if Yuji didn't keep showing up under his balcony with shiny rocks, weird bugs, and a smile that makes Megumi's corset feel three sizes too tight.

"They say it to their partners, they love that person for all that they are." Her voice filters through the air. Tsireya is staring, big eyes reflecting the stars.
"Well, I love you Kiri." She has a big smile on her face, innocence running through those eyes of hers and Kiri's heart nearly stops.
