Jisung WILL find his soulmate. His faith is never shaken, no matter how often people tell him otherwise. “Hi :)” he sends to the universe every month, knowing one day he’ll get a response. Not hoping. Knowing.
Someone nearby has been told that they will never be loved, let alone find a soulmate. You’re an adult! Stop hiding! Stop crying! Stop burdening us! Stop burdening others! The cycle continued until the day they reached a breaking point. Crying and self-hating and wanting to scream. Wanting to suffer alone. Blinking the tears away on a late summer day, they saw letters appear one by one on their left arm, handwritten with care and love.

Yet, he would try for Minho. Even if that meant opening up Pandora's box and confronting parts of themselves that they had never dared to question before.

It’s the first week of the semester and Minho feels a little wild. There’s that itching under his skin, the urge to move and dance and throw himself at someone with strong arms that will be able to cage him, contain him for just long enough to get both of them off.
He doesn’t really remember the first two days of classes, but that doesn’t really matter. They’re always just covering the syllabus and he can read those later if he cares enough. The frats are throwing parties though, trying to recruit underclassmen. Liquor is abundant, as are eager guys who know his history but don’t care.
He feels wild, a little unhinged. Even as he sits in the middle of the auditorium, texting a potential hookup for tonight. His skin itches, his leg bounces and it might be annoying the girl three seats down and he feels the need to do something. Anything.
