"I want to hold you close,
skin pressed against me tight
Lie still, close your eyes girl
So lovely, it feels so right
I want to hold you close, soft breath, beating heart
As I whisper in your ear
'I want to fucking tear you apart'"
(Tear You Apart - She Wants Revenge)After Gant and Skye were suddenly found guilty and taken away from the office, most of the work ended up falling upon the High Prosecutor's shoulders. Meetings, paperwork, and the press suddenly occupied Edgeworth's entire schedule, which meant little to no time to even kiss his boyfriend. Phoenix had done his best to be understanding, really. Until it reached the 3rd week of cold showers and even a colder bed.
So, he takes the matter into his own hands.Bookmarked by mischievousfern

The Pirate Code doesn't expressly command its adherents to repay debts that bridge life and death, but the Code is more of a set of guidelines, anyway. Sparrow/Norrington, set after At World's End, ignores all films released thereafter.

Summary
James had only been in the Caribbean a few months before he found the Three Ducks, the closest Nassau had to a molly house; he hadn’t been expecting much, but then he met Jack.
Jack hadn’t intended to get involved with a British sailor, much less one who was very probably Navy; but James was an utter delight, both in and out of bed.
They established rules early on: no surnames, no identifiable details. Blissful ignorance and all. But they both knew deep down that the rules were really more like guidelines anyway.
Or: me wondering what CotBP would be like if Jack and James already had an established relationship.

“You are aware that ‘Jack’ is just a nickname for ‘John’, aren’t you, Mr Gibbs?” Jack said with a frown.
Gibbs blinked.
“Are you telling me that your name’s actually *John* and *Norrington* knows it?” He replied with as much disbelief as Jack had expressed.
James Norrington and Jack Sparrow share a secret - and this secret influences their multiple interactions throughout canon...

Summary
Eleanor McCallum knows exactly how James Norrington is supposed to die.
Six years before supernatural catastrophe crashes headlong into the Caribbean, an exhausted trauma nurse from modern Halifax goes into the waves during a storm and wakes aboard a merchant vessel bound for Port Royal. Thrust into the brutal realities of the eighteenth century — infected wounds, naval warfare, and men dying for lack of things she once took for granted — Eli finds herself drawn into the orbit of a young Royal Navy officer who is far cleverer, kinder, and lonelier than history ever remembered him to be.
He was never meant to survive the age that made him.
Unfortunately for history, she has never been particularly good at letting people go without a fight.

Tilly Hartcourt does not lock doors behind people. She is not going to turn around.

Summary
Jack Sparrow has two goals: avoid the East India Trading Company, and seduce the death god who keeps saving his life.
James Norrington, now captain of the Flying Dutchman, isn’t supposed to care about the living—especially not one absurdly persistent pirate. But then again, Jack Sparrow has never followed the rules.
There are gifts, sea monsters, stolen hearts, and legends being rewritten. Also, possibly love. Definitely death.Bookmarked by mischievousfern

Summary
Like Curufinwë, like Carnistir, she wore anger as a mask, under which Nerdanel could see a savage wound, still dripping fresh blood.
“They took my son,” Elwing said. “They as good as killed him, that day they chose to leave Sauron free. Just as they killed Celebrimbor, and Elros’s children, they killed Elrond too. And, having already hurt him so much, so many times, now they choose to keep him from life. For what? Because some king who knew no war thought he needed divine intervention to tell him whether or not he could fuck?”
-
In which Elwing discovers her son is interdicted under the Statute of Finwë and Míriel, and seeks both vengeance and assistance with the tool most immediately to hand.
