“Hey, hey,” a soft voice said. Loki was led over to the nearest table by a careful hand braced beneath his arm. Slowly his vision started to return.
“Mobius…” he managed to whisper.
“You keep saying that. How do you know my name? I don’t think I know yours. Is this your first day?”
The world finally came back into focus. Loki started to register where he was. A hard wooden chair. In the Archives. In the TVA. He felt fabric grasped between his fingers and looked down to see he was clutching Mobius’ sleeve. The other man stood over him with a concerned look on his face.

A season two rewrite where Loki doesn't immediately time slip out of the past TVA and I actually get closure for all the things they set up in season one! -

“How many dates is this?” Verity asks, idly. “At some point, don’t you have to start wondering if he’s the problem, not the dates.”
“Thank you for your input, Vee,” Mobius sighs. “Don’t you have some tables to check up on? Or...”
He loses his train of thought as the man at the table leans forward languidly like a cat, resting his elbows on the table and gifting his current date with a Cheshire smile. A finger decorated with two thin gold rings above the middle knuckle traces around the edge of the highball glass suggestively and a lock of raven’s wing black hair falls out of his stylishly messy top knot and across his face.
Mobius wonders why someone like that feels the need to work so hard for attention, but the guy in the polo shirt with the perfect teeth sitting across from him barely seems to appreciate it so maybe that’s why. Mobius sure as hell is having a hard time looking away. The slit in that skirt is probably going to kill him before the night is over.
OR
Mobius works at the bar that Loki brings all his first dates to. None of them go well. Maybe someone needs a shoulder to cry on?

“That’s why you need to practice.” Loki steps forward, ducking under the swinging arc of the dagger, to adjust Mobius’s grip on the hilt. “Stop holding it like a toddler.”
“You give knives to toddlers!?”
“It’s a dagger and I got my first one when I was two and a half.”
“Yeah, and your upbringing is the standard by which all should be measured.”
