Oda's death was not an accident. It never was, but this time Mori wasn't behind it. Seeing an opportunity to take away one of the Mafia's most important people, the agency and government team together to fake his death and take him. Not knowing that he's been kidnapped, the mafia mourns his death until a person who acts like him appears, helping the enemy. Thinking Dazai turned traitor, the mafia tries to find out what happened to the Dazai they knew, and if it's too late to save him.
Or: Dazai is kidnapped by the Armed Detective Agency and the Government and turned into the perfect tool for them to use, and the Mafia tries to find out what happened while Dazai was missing and why he doesn't seem to remember them.

Summary
Chuuya realizes that while all his friends are making something of themselves, he's just acting as the same kid he's always been.
In the hunt for not being 'useless' he finds a job. One that includes playing with dolls, cutting apples, and picking a young blonde girl up from school.
A job that includes an empty house, far too large for the three people who seemingly live there.
He meets cooks and cleaners, a father and a daughter, but never the mentioned brother. A brother that seems to be around Chuuya's age.
Or...
Dazai is going to jump.
He will do so any day now, he's just waiting for the final blow. Or perhaps he wishes for the alcohol to take him first, anything to not be fully there when he dissapears into the darkness.
He wishes he could be a brother, one who could come home and play dolls with his younger sister. He wishes he could be her light.
But how can anyone be the light in someone elses story when there is no light in their own?

This was not in Dazai’s plans for his evening, or now should he say his year. His stupid Dog went chasing after a Rabbit, then he got caught, and so did Chuuya. Now somehow, they were going to school, for heroes.
And out of all the idiotic things Mori had done? having Chuuya mark him might have been the worst. Dazai would rather live forever than give into his instincts that demanded that idiotic alpha.
But here he was, having to face his instincts in all their disgusting, omega glory. He missed his pups, and he wanted his mate to acknowledge he marked him, even if he hadn't marked Chuuya in return

Summary
Dazai and Chuuya are on a mission. One that was supposed to be a breeze, no casualties, no loose ends no nothing. But when Dazai loses consciousness for an unknown reason midway through the mission, and Chuuya has to drag his ass out of danger, various complications arise. Especially when the reason behind Dazai’s extreme fainting spell comes to light and Chuuya discovers something about him that Dazai had tried his hardest to bury deep within himself.

Ever since he was a young boy, Osamu had heard many tales from wandering adventurers, speaking of riches that put even the king himself to shame, medicinal herbs that could cure the fatalest of injuries and strong beasts that ruled where humans once did. Some even spoke of a Dragon that resided in the tallest mountains, watching over its domain. Of course, being the intelligent child he was, Osamu never believed any of these tales. Adventurers tended to twist even the smallest of encounters into the greatest of legends. It sure didn't help that dragons had been extinct for hundreds of years now.
However, many years later, when his best friend falls ill due to a life-threatening poison, he and his apprentice must venture away from the safety of their guild and into the dangers that he once mocked as a boy, only now learning that potentially he should have listened a little harder to those adventurers he, alongside many, deemed crazy.

“You heard what I said, shitty Dazai. He doesn’t want you. Not a single one of them does, but I do. So you’re going to fucking stay here, because you don’t get to leave me again.”
“I’m not participating in this weird ass fantasy where we spend the rest of our lives together. I’m not him and you know it,” Dazai bites out, renewing his efforts to get out of his bindings.
Nakahara’s hand shoots out to pin him against the couch and stop his movements. “I know. Of course, I know that. But he owed me, and now he's fucking dead so you’re the one that’s going to pay on that debt. So, I am going to fucking keep you and when the times comes, I’m going to be the one kill you. You don’t have anything waiting for you out there, and you know it.”
Finally, Dazai stills. He tries to formulate a response, but he's not stupid, and there's no denying the truth. Slowly, he nods, and from above him, Nakahara grins.

Little did he know, eternity has its cruel way of mocking him for living, and Chuuya was the one.
