Summary
In-ho's head is filled with a whirlpool of thoughts. Ever so restless, a head on storm hit his brain one close to uneventful morning. How do you even learn to live with knowing there is a possibilty you will be struck again? He is scared, so scared of this new thing, scared of the unpredictability of it all. Him - a man who built all of his life on attributing numbers, statistics to concrete concepts finds himself facing the intangible. What can he do?
Gi-hun's heart is overflown with the love he has for all that surround him: stray cats, his clients, his daughter, the bugs on his bathroom wall, his best friend Jungbae, his family of heart amongst so many other things. This love he carries cradles everyone, envelops everyone, lulls everyone but himself. Is he loved as much as he loves? If love is just, then why is he always punished whenever his love glows?
What if, together, they learned how to navigate it all?
Dedicating this fanfic to my dear flannel girl, to our 7am white mocha coffees that inspired this fic, and of course to our cat, Poppy.
