Summary
It had been four months since Soap had last heard or seen Ghost.
Seventeen weeks of begging and praying that he was still alive and breathing.
One hundred twenty-one days of living without being alive, of carrying guilt that was eating him alive.Soap couldn't remember the last time he had caught some sleep without being woken up by terrors and nightmares. He had lost everything the day Makarov decided to take away the person Soap cared for the most. He lost count of how many times he had wished to be in Ghost's place instead. As he drowned in memories of the past, Soap's illusion of the perfect soldier life was crumbling down right in front of him, being on mandatory leave whilst his team tried everything to track down Ghost's position in the hope of bringing him back alive. No one knew whether he was still alive in captivity or had long since died. Soap felt his team was losing hope.
But giving up was no option for Soap, because giving up on Ghost meant giving up on what they had and leaving him to die. And dying was no option.
Little did he know that bringing Ghost home wouldn't mark the end of their nightmare, but only the beginning of its aftermath.Bookmarked by mokrisapun

Summary
What the fuck.
Soap brings his hand closer to his face, squinting hard. Making his already pounding headache worse. This isn’t real. Has to be a prank. For some reason, Gaz must’ve sneaked in here. Funny guy.
He’s heard—even seen it, once—the stories. It’s rare, but real, or at least an elaborate hoax, spanning countries and hundreds of years.
People brought together, Fate intervening. Everyone is supposed to have one, a red thread leading and binding them to the person they’re supposed to spend their life with, though Soap isn’t sure how true that is. No one falls in love once. But it’s not just for love, as he heard it. Maybe this is that. He’s not in love with Ghost. Wants him, sure, crushing…not something he wants to admit to in the cold light of day, but okay.
It’s not love.

Summary
Soap's best mate, Gaz, has been on his case to move to London and join his band since Soap was excused from duty after an injury. Took a bit, but he finally landed a job as a band teacher in the area, so he takes him up on it. What he never bargained for was meeting their mysterious bassist, Ghost.
Or
Ghost has a very full, very busy life, raising his teenage son, running several pubs and a night club. For fun, he sneaks in and plays bass with some service buddies and his old captain. He didn't have any room for anything else, until Soap turned his world on its end.

Summary
Ghost turned around quicker than Soap thought possible for such a bulky man. He bent down to cage Soap in on the seat with a hand resting on each side on the armrests, looming over him. His expression was unreadable as he looked down at him and he in return looked up at him, forcing his mouth shut, any protests dying in his throat.
"I want you. Not anyone, you." He almost growled in a whisper and Soaps throat felt dry like sandpaper, he couldn´t help but swallow. His adams apple bobbed and Ghosts eyes followed the movement, expression again unreadable but he saw a glint of something in his eyes when he met Soaps eyes again.
"Okay." Soap answered in a whisper, licking his dry lips while unable to avert his gaze from brown eyes. Ghost looked down at his now split slick lips for a split second before turning away to the windows again, taking the warmth that had spread to Soaps limbs with him.
Oh. Oh.
Or:
Ghost is the CEO of a game develop company and Soap is a very overworked and hard working employee at said company.
