Summary

“I’m trying to decide,” Disaster says, bafflingly.Five scowls. “Decide what?”
“I’m trying to decide if you’re the kind of guy who never has a fling, ever, or the kind of guy who only ever has flings.”
“Excuse me?”
“See, you’ve got that whole no-nonsense, every second of every day booked in your calendar sort of look about you, and those types prefer a steady, reliable relationship, even if it is dreadfully boring. But you’ve got that cold, detached superiority complex thing going on, too, and those types can’t deal with the mess of an actual relationship, so they just go for a series of casual affairs.”
“I’m trying to decide what any of that has to do with you,” Five shoots back, with cold, detached superiority.
Disaster bites his bottom lip, turning the pink briefly white. “Oh, you’ll know,” he says. “When I decide which you are.”

Summary
After reliving Apocalypse!Klaus' memories in the Void of Harlan and Abigail, Klaus has a pretty good idea of how to get their powers back and deal with Reggie for good, if only he could stop getting himself killed in the process. And a lot of Five's hesitance around their relationship makes more sense, but that doesn't necessarily make it any better. Klaus still isn't the same person Five spent an entire lifetime with, even if he has that Klaus' memories now, and he can't help but question the fact that it's only once he's back, with those memories intact, that Five wants to be with him.
Featuring BAMF Klaus with All the Powers, Five barely maintaining grasp of his sanity, and their seriously confused siblings wondering how they missed all this relationship development...

“Do you think a brain tumour is worse, or encephalitis? I suppose it depends on whether the tumour is benign or not, and the location…”
Klaus’ lips quirk to one side in amusement. “You think I’m a hallucination?”
Five barks out a humourless laugh. “What’s the alternative? That I rented a haunted cottage?”
“Oh, everywhere’s haunted,” Klaus says with a dismissive wave. “Just ‘cause you don’t see something doesn’t mean it’s not there.”
“And just because I do see it doesn’t mean it’s real,” Five mutters.
“Hey.” Klaus jabs a finger in Five’s knee, hard, and gives him an annoyed pout. Static shock snaps between them at the touch. “How’s that for real?”
“Ow!” Five reflexively kicks at him. “What’s your fucking problem? You’re the one that’s trespassing here.”
“Trespassing?” Klaus says, incredulous. “Me?” Then he shrugs. “Yeah, I guess, in a way…”
Five rubs the spot and scowls, one brow arched at Klaus. “Also, aren’t you awfully solid for a ghost?”
“Are you an expert on ghosts, then?” Klaus challenges.
“Are you?” Five snaps back, just to be belligerent.
“Actually…” Klaus draws himself up.
