“Chuuya,” Dazai says, and for a second there’s genuine fear and desperation in his tone. “I can’t get up.”
“Shit,” Chuuya swears, and a knot of worry settles into his chest. “I’m coming.”

“Our wha—,” Chuuya choked on his own words for the second time, his mind making horrible, screeching sounds of incomprehension. “Who the fuck allowed you anywhere near a child? Who is she?” He managed to ask finally.
Dazai gasped dramatically with one hand over his heart, the other notably never leaving the girl's tight grip, “How can you not recognize your own daughter? The child that I painfully pushed out of my own body?”

Dazai Osamu was a simple thief who relied on stealing to keep himself and his siblings alive, that he ends up being a cat person was his own stroke of luck.
