mayhaps THE lawresco fic. very non-canon so if you're more in a canon mood don't read this. lawrence is very gay and depressed in here it's just so so delicious. worth every minute i spent reading this. there is also lawrellini (?) and it's also very well written.

While he didn't succeed in coming off as suave, Daniil still chuckled at his cheesy flattery as Artemy leaned closer behind him to ghost his lips along the shell of his ear, and Artemy didn't think there was a sound in the world more dulcet than Daniil's affectionate laughter. "He's a real showstopper, that one. Quite handsome, though some might say he's a bit of a dandy. And have you seen the hot blond nurse that follows him around?"
"Christ, Tyoma, you're ridiculous." Daniil's smile was audible, full of begrudging endearment, and he shook his head while running his gloved hands up Artemy's arms where they circled his waist. "So you're my assisting nurse, now? It seems to me like you'd prefer to be the patient receiving treatment."

He might have not shown it, but deep down Jean knew that without Heidelstam the 41st crime unit would have collapsed. The man was like molten gold in ancient seolite pottery: you poured him into the cracks and he mended the damage, no matter how deep and ramified.
For someone who did all in his power to avoid conflict, Trant sure had a way to materialise right when disaster was knocking at the door
