Aiden didn't mean to travel for miles with Hakon by his side to the Merpir. He didn't mean to bring anyone else with him other than Mia, but Mia wasn't here and whenever he tried to convince Hakon to just stay behind, dammit, the man would stare at him with this weird unreadable stare until he caved in.
Lavanda was gonna have a field day bullying him for bringing a puppy in a body of a man. He only prayed that, despite everything, they won't pick up on his crush on Hakon.

Danger was practically pouring off the man in waves. He was fully clad in shimmering purple armor and his hand rested on the handle of his sword, as if he was ready to draw it at any second. He was a head taller than the villager who captured him, and stood in a firm, confident battle stance. Ranboo had seen borrowers like him, before he'd left. Those borrowers were the ones who fought off the rats and the racoons. They were the ones who survived encounters with something like a cat or a dog.
