Summary
It’s the middle of the night, a red glow is filtering through the curtains, and Nancy once again finds herself naked in Steve Harrington’s bed, watching him leave.
He’s sat at the end of the mattress, leaning to pull on his discarded socks, his shirt still missing in the rubble of the evening’s activities. If he knows she’s awake, he doesn’t acknowledge it, which leaves Nancy to stare at the expanse of his back- at the freckles she can spot even in the dark, and the angry marks she’s left against his shoulder blades.
The sight isn’t unfamiliar.Steve never sticks around for long these days. And wishing he would stay is a solitary, selfish pastime of Nancy’s.

Shuri and Namor are happily married and ready to start a family until a car accident leaves Shuri in a coma. When she awakes, she has no memory at all of the last few years of her life nor of her loving husband.
She doesn’t understand why she left her parents to live with this man or why her relationship with them is strained. She’s also in love with her former fiancé, Bucky.
Despite these forces threatening to take her away from him, Namor is determined to make Shuri fall in love with him again and rebuild their marriage.
