Summary
Some instinctual part of Tommy, whether it came with the wings or the wars, tells him if he doesn't get help he will die. He knows it like he knows the sun rises and he knows he'll wake up drowning. It's a blur how this thought process leads him to Technoblade's cabin, especially considering the man hates him, but at least he won't die alone.

Tommy gets wings in exile and nearly loses them too, so he flees from Logstedshire to Technoblade's cabin for help.

Summary
He's always praised for how mature and responsible he is. He stays on top of his school work, schedules all the necessary parts for his vlogs, writes out the story for one of the fastest growing servers, deals with literally ten million eyes on him- needless to say, he's got the world in his hands and he's handling it brilliantly!
Okay, well..."brilliantly" might not be the right word. Not when he's crying on his kitchen floor.or
Tommy's struggling, but sometimes all it takes is a friend to help. Wilbur's that friend.

Summary
He had less than a year until he was pulling himself out of the system. He knows it's an awful plan, dangerous at best and a death sentence at worse, but he can't stand to bounce from house to house with promises that "this will be the one". His caseworker has said that about every single house he's been fostered in, all 17 of them, so he doesn't let the words build even the smallest bit of hope as they pull up in front of the cozy-looking house sat on the coast of Newhaven.
Legally, he can become independent at 16. Currently, he's 15. The Watson house only has to deal with him for a few months before he's gone. He just has to hold out those months until he's free.
Would that really make him free?or
Tommy Doe, ward of the state and resident "problem foster kid", plans on becoming emancipated at 16. Phil, Wilbur, and Technoblade might change that plan.

If they were going to continue this trend of naming themselves Greek gods, Sam supposes he'd call himself Atlas. Just as Atlas was burdened to uphold the sky on his shoulders, Sam is burdened to uphold the server with his prison.
He does not get to unburdened his shoulders for a single child. He does not get to let the sky fall for the wants of a boy he wishes he could save.
He is Atlas, he is the Warden, he is Sam, and he is not privy to wishes. He is not privileged enough to want. So he upholds his promise to Tommy as he upholds the server.or

When Wilbur died it was like the world had stopped, standing still to respect the monumental loss. Everyone stared and gasped. The ground beneath them was crumbling just like Phil's heart was. Withers burned through the sky and the world collapsed just like Phil's life did.
The day Tommy dies, it's partly sunny with a slight wind and he was going on a walk.
It feels ironic, unjust, disrespectful. As Phil's world caves in a second time, life continues. It feels wrong.or

Things have finally calmed down in the cabin. It's been weeks since the Butcher Army attacked, Tommy truly seemed to be doing better, Phil managed to sneak out of house arrest last week and hasn't been found. Of course Techno had to go and ruin it by getting sick.

Summary
So what if he wasn't feeling great? So what if being stuck inside a ravine almost 24/7 made him lose track of the days? Techno made practically all of their food and was almost never in Pogtopia anyways, Wilbur did so much for them and recently he's been so on edge that Tommy's nervous to mention it, Tubbo's had a pretty stressful week with the festival, and Quackity was his enemy less than 72 hours ago. So he sucked it up and dealt with it himself, like the big man he is.
Only it's a little hard to "suck up" being severely sickor
Tommy's sick and everyone's too busy to notice until it's almost too late.
