But you try your best, because you love your wife more than anything in this world, and you know if this were the other way around, she'd support you in a heartbeat.

However, Monica doesn't know exactly who it is that she's been talking to, and Chandler doesn't know exactly why he can't let go of his fake identity. Sure, it's dishonest, but being pen pals is just too fun. What she doesn't know won't hurt her, right?
