Summary
Who’s he kidding? This is the same man who grumbles when bringing Kaveh a cup of coffee.
But he does bring it.
And once that thought hits Kaveh, the words fall out of his mouth before he can register them. “A blanket, if you have another one.”
“A blanket?” Alhaitham repeats.
Fuck.
Excuses. Something, anything. “Mine’s basically a sheet since I bought the cheapest one available—” What is he saying? Yes, he has been feeling cold as of late but that’s not something he can’t handle. “Actually, I can buy another one tomorrow since it’s the weekend.”
What use is the backtrack if Alhaitham notices it anyway?
“Save that for rent. I do have another one.”
Or, 5 times Alhaitham lies to and deceives Kaveh, and the 1 time he realises he's never needed to.

Summary
So, when the decision was made to send him to a kingdom he had never visited, to live among a court full of strangers, he accepted his fate willingly. If this sacrifice meant that his people would have homes with four walls to return to and food on their tables, he embraced it with open arms.
Or: arranged marriage where they end up falling for each other.

Summary
Two lab partners, that's all they were, lab partners. The only word to describe their relationship was professional, at least on the surface.
Jayce had always known he was curious about his coworker, he was just oddly terrified of Viktor, especially since he noticed his slow transition to being colder and more reserved. It started when Viktor began to cough more- to the point where he would accidentally smear blood on surfaces without realizing, and his walk began to be more labored.
Viktor knew how he felt about Jayce, he admired him like a beautiful statue in a garden- peacefully, in awe. Then his health came up, and soon the admiration turned to pain, as if he needed even more pain. With these problems unwavering, he feels as if the only way to save himself from heartbreak, and Jayce from disappointment is to slowly leave him. Maybe everyone.

'Foolish mortal, your endeavor to escape is futile,' Looking to his right, he is met eye to eye with the amber eyes of a dragon, 'Resist not and I will grant you-'
"Dude, I'm literally just sitting here, do you even see me trying to yank off these chains? Spare me the villain talk." He rolls his eyes, sitting down on the bed, the springs made him bounce a couple of times "Nice bed by the way."

An incredulous laugh slips free of Kaeya’s throat. Is this supposed to be roleplay?
“It’s not funny,” snaps Diluc, shifting in his polished heels. “I’m being serious. Trying to do something nice.”
Kaeya laughs again, pure wonder this time. “You wanted to be good for me? A sweet little wife?”

Summary
Leaving Liyue Harbour so suddenly after that disaster had been a good decision. A very good one even. Yes, and letting go of that whole fiasco was an even better one.
Or so Childe vehemently tried to convince himself as his trembling hands wouldn’t let go off the Cor Lapis hair tie tightly gripped in them.
Leaning over the frozen railing of the Fatui ship taking him back home to Snezhnaya, the wind wouldn’t stop whipping his fringe into his eyes as if trying to tell him something.
What a pity.
Dropping that stupid hair accessory into the deep nothingness of the ocean to forget had sounded like such an easy and great idea.

Meanwhile, Zhongli worked himself into collapsing out of exhaustion—stubbornly ignoring the recovery time after the loss of his Gnosis—in his futile attempt to not loose yet another important person in his own unique but admittedly rather dense way.- Language:

Summary
I like you a lot. I’d like to take you out some time, get to know you.
You say that like you haven’t known me for years.
This is personal. I don’t want to know cadet Keith, or paladin Keith, I just want to get to know Keith, plain and simple.
Just because Shiro never said specifically that this was a date doesn't mean that it's not. Keith knows what it is and what it means to him -- to both of them. And under the soft touch of starlight, hearts are laid bare and promises spoken.
