Dennis doesn’t ask her about her mother, or the boxes full of gymnastics trophies, or what happened between her and Langdon, and in exchange Trinity doesn’t ask how a guy from Bumfuck Nowhere, Nebraska whose whole community was rooting for him ended up broke and homeless in near enough the other side of the country.
