Rex snorts. “Those two? Ten credits they don’t even have a cake to show.”

Coughing forcefully, Anakin jerks open the balcony doors in an attempt to disperse the clouds of black smoke emanating from the oven. Obi-Wan comes to stand beside him, still hacking up his lungs.
“Well,” Obi-Wan says between coughs, “that could have gone better.”

Summary
One minute Fives is in a warehouse on Coruscant, waiting to tell his commanding officers of a conspiracy at the heart of the Republic. The next, he’s on the run with his former Commander Ahsoka Tano. There’s chips in the head of every clone trooper to make them kill their Jedi, and the Chancellor is in on it.
‘Do or die’ takes on a lot more meaning when you’re the only two people in the galaxy that can save the clones and Jedi from death, or worse.

Summary
Rex finds Ahsoka in an empty supply room. It’s one of the few spaces on the cruisers that he finds ill-planned: a ways away from the main hangar and main cargo hold, and not easily accessible by lift. It’s stood empty for the entirety of the war. At least until now. Someone—likely Jesse, he thinks—has begun to store spare armor paint inside. There are only a few cans, stacked neatly on a shelf beside the door. Mostly 501st blue, one can of red, and one of yellow.
He doesn’t move further inside until Ahsoka looks up.
Her eyes are red-rimmed, though she scrubs away the tear tracks before he can see them. “Rex.” Her voice is hollow. “I’ll be up to the bridge in a moment.”
(Or, Rex and Ahsoka find their way, from Ryloth to Mandalore.)

Summary
“Please, can’t we get just one competent government?” a man sighed as he received his fifth funding request back, unopened.
There was nothing special about this man. His name was Irdo Gyrk, originally hailing from Chandrila before his need to “see the galaxy” sent him rushing off to the nearest space port, and then his need to eat sent him into the arms of the first steady job he could find. In all, Irdo Gyrk was a plain, unassuming, and all together unimportant man, who worked as a minor assistant to some equally unimportant bureaucrat.
This man was just like any other man, this day just like any other day, and his words just like any other low-level government employee frustrated with the slow-turning cogs of bureaucracy. The difference, of course, is that this time, someone was listening.
That someone was the Force, and it was an asshole.

Summary
obi-wan takes both twins to tatooine, rex and ahsoka start a rebellion, and along the way, many things turn out better than they might have in another universe.
alternatively, a self-indulgent fix it series of (mostly) standalones including but not limited to: extensive family dynamics, what it means to wear mandalorian armor, world building, clones finding their place in the galaxy, long conversations about legacy, redemption, the many different kinds of love, and stories.
(and despite what you may believe, this story is far sadder and far happier than you think.)
