Summary
Obi-Wan and Anakin arrive on a planet to assist in a mission requiring them to infiltrate the palace of a tyrannical king—who seized power by force and has ties to the Separatists.
However, upon arrival, they learn that the princess—who was set to marry the king and serve as their way inside—has run away, leaving them with no other means of infiltration. After much deliberation, Obi-Wan volunteers to pose as the king's intended, while Anakin goes undercover as his assistant. The moment the king meets Obi-Wan, he falls in love and becomes obsessed with him.
Anakin must grapple with his jealousy and insecurities while struggling to keep the mission on track, yet at times he begins to suspect that Obi-Wan might actually be falling for the target.

Summary
A holocron should not be capable of tearing the fabric of reality.
Unfortunately, Anakin Skywalker has never been especially good at leaving dangerous things alone.
When forty-one-year-old Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi is thrown into a parallel universe, he finds a Temple almost familiar enough to hurt— except here, Anakin Skywalker is a Jedi Master, Obi-Wan's younger counterpart is his missing Padawan, and the two of them share a bond that leaves Obi-Wan wondering what, exactly, his own universe has been withholding from them.
Until the way home is found, Master Skywalker is responsible for him.
And perhaps the strangest part is discovering that being loved by an Anakin who already loves another version of you can still feel a little like coming home.

Summary
Anakin's knighting ceremony is canceled. Somehow, Qui-Gon Jinn has joined the land of the living again, and the Council is too busy figuring out what to do. Washing their hands off the matter, the Council decides to make Qui-Gon Anakin's and Obi-Wan's problem.
For Anakin, this is a dream come true (minus the mishap with his knighting). He has always wanted Qui-Gon as his Master. Unlike Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon would understand him. This is his chance to experience what having Qui-Gon as sort-of-Master would be like.
The answer is as surprising as it's disappointing. It sucks a lot. Rather than understanding, Qui-Gon misunderstands everything. Half the (disparaging) stuff Qui-Gon says about Obi-Wan flies over his head, too, but Anakin's convinced Qui-Gon's trying to drive a wedge between Obi-Wan and him.
So, on second thought, Anakin prefers to remain Obi-Wan's Padawan. Really, there's no need to reschedule his knighting ceremony.

Summary
Obi-Wan stepped closer, close enough that Anakin could see the strain around his eyes, the exhaustion he was too proud to show.
“I had to decide,” he said. “Someone had to stop the bloodshed. You were blinded by him. You couldn’t see what you would have become.”
Anakin flinched, something rawer than anger making his voice tremble. “And what about you? You’re slaughtering in cold blood and dressing it up as balance. Like that makes it righteous. You think I can’t see that?”
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes. “Spare me the Jedi piety, Anakin. You never believed in it before.”
OR: Obi-Wan turns to the dark side instead of Anakin, and Anakin goes to confront him on Mustafar.

Anakin Skywalker went missing a few months before the end of the Clone Wars. During his absence, the wars ended with Darth Sidious’ exposure and the averting of Order 66. Now, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano finally have permission to search for him…
“I’m going,” Obi-Wan Kenobi says. “You cannot stop me. You will not stop me. Not again.”
“Where will you begin?” Mace Windu asks.
“Where he vanished,” Obi-Wan says curtly. “The last place in the galaxy Anakin Skywalker was seen.”(august 2026: minor edits to fix plot gaps)

Summary
Master Anakin Skywalker has been captured; his padawan races to a small outpost deep within Separatist space to rescue him.
Because he needs rescuing. Because he's his master. Because, even if Anakin doesn't know it and even if Anakin is happily mated to some other omega, he's his alpha.
Because maybe if Obi-Wan risks life and limb to save his master before the Separatists can neutralize the threat that the Hero With No Fear poses to their cause, his master will realize that Obi-Wan is no longer some youngling in need of coddling and protecting.
At the very least, maybe he'll stop bringing up that unfortunate business on Melida/Daan.

That one where Obi-Wan and Anakin never sever their Force Bond, break a table and fly off into the Coruscant sunset.
Anakin and Obi-Wan run off together (dramatically), Dooku makes better choices with his life (mostly), Palpatine doesn't get why nothing is going according to plan (constantly), negative things happen to Temple furniture (accidentally), and the galaxy is never the same again.
[ Dooku signs a treaty, Anakin adopts Yavin, vod'e, Force ghosts, rescued slaves, Force sensitive children and families, and anyone and anything else he can convince to come with him. Obi-Wan just rolls with it with an annoyed sigh. ]

The things the clingy mess of Anakin Skywalker does to get his Master’s reluctant attention: A Star Wars Story.
UPDATE 2026
Hello there!
bobbypinn’s amazing comments have inspired me to brush the dust off this fic. I’ve made minor edits, fixed a few typos and mistakes, got rid of the annoying italics (god knows why I was so into them back in 2020). I also added a few paragraphs here and there. Nothing major, but hopefully, it will make reading easier and more pleasurable.
Even though this fic is old, I will be just as excited to get your comments as I was back when I first started posting it -

Summary
It begins with a dream. And a whisper in the Force. There’s been a great disruption, somewhere at the outer reaches of the known galaxy. Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to investigate. What happens out there will change everything; between themselves, the galaxy at large and the very balance of the Force itself. A fix-it, time travel fic of sorts where Anakin is his usual reckless, kind of possessive self and Obi-Wan is just trying his best, but he’s not used to all his damn feels. Together, they make one powerful team.
[Or where Obi-Wan and Anakin get flung out of time, find comfort and solace in each other, learn to talk, grow and heal, and couldn't possibly live without the other.]

“Are you an angel?” Anakin’s small hands came up to cup his smooth cheeks, blue eyes wide with wonder.
“No, Ani,” Blinking past the moisture threatening to flood his eyes, Obi-Wan laughed and in a wild moment of poor decision-making, pressed a loving kiss to Anakin’s forehead.
But I swear I will watch over you like one if the Force gave me a second chance hummed unspoken between their new bond.
(Obi-Wan finds himself back on Tatooine after his encounter with Darth Vader in the Death Star. Qui-Gon lives and becomes Anakin's master. Some things change and others do not. Time-travel Fix-it.)

Summary
"He is the balance, the other half, the completion to Skywalker’s soul, a perfect dyad in the force.
But while Kenobi is a simple answer, the force also sees the difficulty of the pair coming together in balance. The foundations of the galaxy they exist in pull at them, threatening to intervene in their unity. But this is also a simple problem, for the force is far greater than the foundations of a single galaxy, for it is the foundation of all. So the force enacts its will, to bridge the pair over a span of moments, of years, of eternities, and Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi will fall in love, have fallen in love, and are falling in love."The one where the force ships it and to get Anakin and Obi-Wan together, it must lead them through several orchestrated tropes in the name of kiss already to save the galaxy.

“Calm your breathing,” Obi-Wan instructs as he gets off Anakin and the bed. “In and out, slowly. Find your centre.”
He doesn’t expect Anakin to be able to, but Obi-Wan likes setting a high bar. Anakin never tries when the objective is easy, preferring to be pushed and challenged. They’re the same in that sense. The same drive to prove themselves.
A little failure is good for the soul.
or; Obi-Wan pegs Anakin like he deserves.

His master. His master was here.
Reality crashed down on Obi-Wan, and he scrambled to stand up straight. The sudden movement made him dizzy, so he clutched at the wall again for support.
"Master, what're you doing here?” he repeated, much squeakier this time, very aware of the hot water he’d suddenly found himself in.
Anakin blinked away his initial shock, brows dropping from his hairline into a scowl. Prowling closer, Anakin crowded Obi-Wan back until he was pressed flush against the building, his shoulder blades knocking against the rough concrete. But physical discomfort was low on Obi-Wan’s list of worries at the moment.
