Summary
I might have occasionally left marks on her so that, if people were to look closer than I’d feel comfortable with, I could at least ward them off, and I might have wished, sometimes, that they knew it was me and no one else doing that to her – but biting her all over her body, while soothing in the moment, never did make me feel any better in the long run, and would only leave bruises on Sendai-san that mocked me with their uselessness for days.
The necklace, like her earrings, were always meant to mark her as mine in a way that wouldn't gradually just fade over, even if we were the only ones who knew what they meant.
But that doesn’t seem to be enough for Sendai-san anymore, and I’d be lying if I said, in full seriousness, that it was ever enough for me.

Summary
Technically, it wasn’t a necklace, and technically, Sendai-san didn’t buy it for me. Therefore, one could say that she listened earnestly to my request to not get me a necklace for my birthday, and that I had nothing to complain about.
At least, that was Sendai-san’s excuse when I opened the neatly-wrapped box in front of me to find a collar that was way too big for any pet we might ever have, and way more ornate too. The sight of it was so unexpected, and my first reaction so visceral, that it must’ve shown on my face, leading Sendai-san to say for a second time: “It’s not for you.”
“Then what is the meaning of this?”
“Isn’t it obvious?”

Sasha’s voice cracks halfway through her reply. She can’t bring herself to feel ashamed about it. “Is that a bad thing?”
“Not bad. Inconvenient.” She lies back on Sasha’s chest, ear right over her heart - and Sasha begs for it to slow down, for Marcy not to hear it. “I’m just really going to miss this.”
So Sasha feels anything but selfish, feels justified, when she pipes up and says:
“Well, you don’t have to leave.”Or: Sasha and Marcy move in together and have to deal with their longstanding feelings for Anne, along with newfound feelings for each other.

Catra whips around so fast she feels her head spinning. She’s pretty sure a hiss comes out of her mouth. “What?”
“Yeah! Perfuma’s one of her friends, so it’s on the house. We need to be there before dinner to set decorations up. What did she do to you?”
“Nothing.” She’s technically not lying, but it does sound a bit defensive. “We grew apart.”

Summary

Her fingers were saying all those words her pride wouldn’t let her speak out loud, but when Suletta twitched in her sleep she knew she heard them loud and clear. The sunlight was playing with her pretty features and lovely hair, and in that particular moment of weakness – when her eyes were still shimmering with unshed tears and her heart was still singing those lovely stories about a shared home she could always go back to – her whole future was painted in red, white and gold, and Miorine could have never been more delighted to see it.
On Miorine, Suletta and their ability to always gravitate towards each other.
