Summary
Omori’s goal was to protect the Dreamer.
This was always his goal, and it hasn’t changed, but the means in which he goes about achieving it have. From Omori’s inception, he would protect the Dreamer from the Truth, while keeping him happy. Yet, eventually that fell through, as he was shown the dark Truth by the shadow of a certain flower boy.
From then on, Omori changed how he protected the Dreamer, from shielding the Dreamer from his own memories, to protecting him from physical and social threats, almost like an annoying ghost.
Until one day, the Dreamer packs for a visit to Faraway to meet with his old accomplice, Basil. While Omori would never approve of him going anywhere near Basil ever again, not since the Dreamer's eye was stabbed out, a more pressing matter reared its head.
Basil, like the Dreamer, also had someone protecting him, and they had a very different attitude.

Summary
Sunny had done it. Told the truth he had unearthed buried in his own mind to his friends. Admitted to what he had done. It could have gone worse, he supposed. At least they didn't attack him or something.
A few days later, still in the hospital, he found himself in WHITESPACE again, as himself. With a different monochrome visitor. And a familiar window.
The next night, agonizingly bored, he noted the window it still present in WHITESPACE. Venturing through the window set in action a series of events, starting with a chance meeting, which could allow the teen to see his dear sibling among the living once more.
Seven months later, one Sunday afternoon, Hero visited Mari's grave, looking for Sunny, who had gone missing three days before. They had just called hoping to arrange a visit with Sunny to really talk things over the day he vanished. In fact the teen's Mother thought he was visiting them, as he'd gotten a bus ride to Faraway. They quickly realized the teen was nowhere to be found.
Suddenly, a sound coming from Mari's grave. Like...banging on wood!?
Good thing Old Beardy had a feeling he'd need a shovel today.
