Y/N Potter was now in her fifth year, the Marauders now in their sixth, it was meant to be a calm year, what with the usual antics of James being in love with Lily and the boys playing pranks on the Slytherins as a whole. Lately however, Y/N has started to pay a little more attention to Remus, seeing as he had started to talk to her more this year, leaving to let her wonder if he was always this nice and attractive. (Remake of a fanfic I wrote on Wattpad when I was 11/12 which got 13,248 reads somehow, its called Astrology Love. I tried redoing it before but no longer liked the story so I've completely changed it. I will try not to describe Y/N but since she is James' sister there will be some things already in my head from that but otherwise she has her own looks.)

Albus was starting to truly discover how different he really was. He spent a lot of his time over the summer alone, and being isolated with his own thoughts was proving to be terrifying. He’d discovered that he wasn’t really attracted to girls…he wasn’t exactly attracted to anyone romantically and it was confusing. When his father was his age, he’d had multiple girlfriends and girls were falling at his feet. It had been the same for James. But, Albus hadn’t even had his first kiss. He was certain he wasn’t attracted to girls…it was his attraction to boys that confused him.
Scorpius knew he was different. He was always aware that he was different. His grandmother and father both love him and he knows that, but neither of them understand him. They don’t understand the ways he copes with his trauma, they don’t understand his autism, and they mostly certainly wouldn’t understand his attraction to men.

Summary
A re-imagining of the infamous "I wish you weren't my dad" scene from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Personally, I really didn't like how Harry Potter was written to speak more like a child than an adult in that moment. I attempted to have him talk more like a caring adult to his son in this work. There are some extra scene rewrites though. Various scenes which I feel Cursed Child dropped the ball with. (EDIT: Added another scene rewrite. The scene where Albus and Scorpius work together to escape the Hogwarts Express. I feel like the train kinda didnt really do much with this sequence, so I added some more flail to it, while fixing things I didnt care for.)

This is ridiculous. Houses don't jump around merrily on maps. Paths don't change spontaneously of their own accord the moment you walk down them. Owls don't scowl at innocent passers-by with genuine, human disdain, but the great tawny owl perched on a bare branch a few paces ahead is doing just that, and actually, Sirius thinks, owls shouldn't be around in the daytime at all - disdainful ones or otherwise - and truly nothing about this cursed place is acceptable.
Sirius finds himself in the woods, in a cottage, sipping strawberry-pink tea from a chipped china teacup. Remus has dirt under his fingernails and isn't going anywhere.
