Leorio happened to be a slightly obscure detective who only accepted a case on a whim until one landed in his lap, literally.
A person by the name of Hisoka who wasn't bound to anything but a human form needed his help and Leorio would do his very best to help them.
He would come to learn that like the sea, Hisoka never forgot and would hardly forgive, either.

Hisoka would tend to Machi's rut and allow her to use him whenever she wished no matter how rough provided she did the same for his heat. He never complained, which was the only reason why she kept coming back to the tantalizing omega.

Summary
Near the end of season 1, the timeline diverges. Eobard decides to try and fix it and convinces team Flash to let him. After being locked in the pipeline for months, he's finally released to face tension between himself and the rest of the team.
He's released, and he has to face Barry Allen, his questions, the implications of the sudden timeline divergence.
And most of all, he has to face himself.
