Ron still has a hard time accepting his own homosexuality, but finally decides to come out to his family and brings his boyfriend (OMC) to the Burrow for Christmas.
Though Hermione and him are divorced for a long time and they worked on having a cautious friendship for their kids and Harry, she doesn't react really well when she finds out he has another partner.Ron's always been the person that Harry would miss the most. Harry never really thought about what that would mean for him or his relationship with Ginny and his friends.
Actually most of the time he had more pressing issues to deal with than thinking about relationships. Saving people or not dying for example.
Maybe he should have thought about it though...because even though he was never jealous of Hermione when Ron and her were together, Ron being with another man makes him want to punch a wall. -

However, even though everyone’s been acting joyful all around, she'll admit things hadn't been like she had expected.Ginny was still treating Harry like he was one of her brothers, forcibly shoving past him when pancakes were served. Her explosive energy tamed only when Hermione tends to her - thank Merlin for Hermione.
At least Ron and Harry's new tendency to get flustered whenever someone had sought them out made sense. Her older sons would definitely tease Ron and Harry mercilessly over having new girlfriends.
