Summary
Harry Styles is in the middle of a whirlwind tour when he gets dumped by his boyfriend of six years. Louis Tomlinson is vying for a spot on England's World Cup roster for the first time in his career. It would be a hell of a lot easier to focus on football if every journalist wasn't asking him why he was at a popstar's concert in the midst of training. All Louis wants is a World Cup win. He ends up with a whole lot more.

Louis rolled his eyes at the change in subject. “To get some lunch and then I was hoping I could come back to yours?” He glanced over at the taller man with pleading eyes.
Harry’s eyes widened. “That’s very forward of you.”
Louis eyebrows scrunched before he realized the implication behind his words, “Oh. No. Shit. Sorry. I just meant that I wanted to hang out with your cats.”
Or Louis is one of the two veterinarians in town and somehow gets lucky enough for Harry’s three cats to be his clients.

Louis shoved him off and was pulling his fist back from Harry’s abdomen before he realized his face wasn’t tingling because of the pain.

Zayn paused, his hand freezing as he was about to take a bite, his head snapping up to look at Louis. Louis could relate, it’s how he’d felt that morning after he’d woken up. He’d laid in bed for fifteen minutes trying to figure out what had happened, why it had turned him on so much, and then patiently waiting for his erection to go down.
“Like… my Niall’s Harry? Harry Styles?” Zayn clarified, his face bewildered as if trying to comprehend what had just happened. “Do you even like Harry?”
“His last name is Styles?”
or Louis woke up after having a sexy dream about his best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend resolved to never think about it again. He hardly knew Harry, so what difference would it make? But when they are thrown together only a few days later, Louis had to admit, his subconscious might have been onto something.

This was written for the OHFicfest2023 with the following prompt: Harry has been living his life in the city with his mom and his cat until one day a man approaches him and tells him that it’s time for him to fulfil his destiny: to become the Luna of the Tomlinson pack. This man tells him that his Alpha is waiting for him and on his 18th birthday, they will bond and rule the pack together. Harry laughs in his face but when his mom confirms this, Harry is thrown into a life he never expected.
