finished this fic on new year's eve at 11:27pm bc i couldn't imagine ending it another way. this is the best dramione fanfic i've read, probably the harry potter fanfic i've read (dare i say flat out better than the original books?).
hermione reflecting back my disorganised and messy line of thoughts was such a surreal experience. i hope the author will write more, just bc they do have a way around words that make their characters so relatable. -

review on goodreads:
idk why i thought this would be more similar to Détraquée by having more chapters showing how they changed/reconstructed after the war, but i guess it was asking for too much considering that they did retell all of the death hallows. some stuff still felt super inconsistant imo, especially the fact that the death hallows weren't talked abt at all?personal opinion but way too much smut imo, even if i hated the dub-con elements, they did help further the plot in some ways, but i really didn't like how they were desceibed/justified/talked abt. i did read some comments saying that the author said on reddit they'd find any excuses to add dub-con and :/// i know understand why i felt so uncomfortable reading through those parts, fr it kinda tainted how i view the story.
and fr, at some point i'd just skim through the smut bc of how useless to the plot it felt, but well it's a fanfic sooo, idk how much i can blame the author for that lmao. -
