It wasn’t often that Kuya called upon Olivine. The fox liked to be unpredictable, which meant that he scoffed at the idea of prior warning; he much preferred ambushing Olivine in the hallways, or in the streets, or, on one particularly memorable occasion, at the Holy Temple’s pulpit.
Which was to say, when Olivine drew close to Kuya’s house deep in the woods, it was with a deep sense of anticipation, so intense that it felt like it was buzzing beneath his skin. The very invitation was an unspoken promise in and of itself: whatever Kuya had in store required no surprises to buoy it.

“Strip,” the same man said.
“What is this?” a finger pressed against the peridot gem in Olivine’s navel.
“Your Holiness, I was born with it. The elders in my village believed it was a sign that I already belonged to Klein,” Olivine answered. He held his hands rigidly at his sides even though he badly wanted to cover himself and hide his privates.
Another finger reached out and dragged a hard nail across Olivine’s nipple. He gasped, but managed to stop himself from moving.
“Sensitive,” the owner of the finger murmured, his tone either amused or approving.
“The Council has decided to accept you to begin Training to be an Offering. Your Training begins tomorrow."

Olivine has to go back to the church for a formal mass, and Eiden asks Kuya and Quincy to go with them. Both bothered by the request, they find themselves much more interested when Olivine shows up to the mass wearing the most sinful set of robes they’ve ever seen.
Kuya noses at his jawline, smiling when Olivine flinches and then slowly tilts his head up, allowing him more of his neck. “Before we go back to the mansion, why don’t we play a little?” He asks in a whisper. “Let us play with you, Olivine.”

It'll probably be easier to push Yakumo around than have to flirt all night. Ainosuke glances at Kaoru, who puts his fingers on Kojiro’s jaw. His touch turns Kojiro until he’s facing Kaoru; Kaoru’s eyes directly on his, so close that he can see the deeper flecks of brown in the gold of his irises, brings some clarity back to Kojiro’s mind. No matter what, he’s safe here. He’s with Kaoru, his best friend, and Kojiro can trust Kaoru with anything. Kojiro trusts Ainosuke too, or at least he wants to, but he’s always been more of a wild card.
“Do you want us to show you, Kojiro? What you’re missing?” Kaoru asks, his lips dangerously close to Kojiro’s, “We could make you feel so good.” Kaoru’s eyes drag down to Kojiro’s mouth, then back up to his eyes.
“Yes,” Kojiro breathes, and it’s all the permission Kaoru needs to lean forward and kiss him.

Not in front of the children, Shadow, Kojiro had been about to say, but the words die in his throat. Instead he turns to Kaoru slowly, fuming.
“Excuse me? What’s that supposed to mean, cinnamon stick?”
“It means you couldn’t handle me in bed,” Kaoru answers. He looks down his sharp slash of a nose at Kojiro, somehow, despite Kojiro’s height advantage.
“Well, maybe you couldn’t handle me!” Kojiro snaps.
“Doubtful,” Kaoru scoffs. He’s close now, close enough for Kojiro to see the angry line between his eyebrows, the irritated curl of his upper lip.
“Prove it!” Kojiro yells, stepping closer.
“Maybe I will.”
