Ra’s face is frozen on the screen, lips curled upward in smug, victorious pleasure.
Tim doesn’t know how to look away.
Dick is moving, grabbing Damian where he’s come up to see what’s going on as well. He puts his body between the boy and the screen, ignoring his startled protest. “Jason,” he snaps. “Take him into the manor, now.”
Tim lets out a shuddery breath, grabbing the back of the second chair and dropping into it, hand still linked with Cass’s.
His chest feels hollow.
“Tim - ” Bruce says hoarsely, but he cuts him off.
“Where did you get this footage?” he asks, voice flat and empty.
Bruce swallows. “It was sent to me,” he says quietly.
He huffs a laugh. It’s an awful, cored-out sound. “By Ra’s,” he murmurs.

Tim sat upright in bed, gasping for air, tears spilling down his cheeks like they couldn’t in his dream. He whimpered and pressed the heels of his palms into his eyes. Dick was fine. Dick was in the manor and so was Tim. Tim had succeeded. Bruce hadn’t died, he was just lost. Tim brought him back. A sudden jolt of pain shooting through his body made the decision for him. “Oh, fuck it.”Jason is hit by Cuddle Pollen for the first time since coming back to Gotham. He underestimates how badly it will affect him and has to make the impossible decision: spend the next few hours in tortourous agony, or ask his brother for help. It’s harder for him to choose than one might think.

Tim was not tiny. He wasn’t, and he was willing to die on that hill. But maybe— just maybe— compared to his father and older brothers, he was on the smaller side. It wasn’t his fault that genetics hadn’t exactly lended themselves to the improvement of his stature. (Though, he knew multiple people who would argue that his constant overdosing of caffeine and his inability to sleep more than thirty hours a week may have had a hand in stunting his growth. To that, Tim had no comment.)
Unfortunately, as a result of the rather embarrassing size contrast between himself and his older family members, he found himself being manhandled by them infuriatingly often.
