"I'm coming in," Frank said, and the door slowly opened.
Frank froze, eyes widening in horror as he took in the scene that lay before him. Gerard was on the ground, blade clutched in his hand as blood wept from the tens of incisions decorating his thighs.
"Oh, Gee," his boyfriend said, bringing a hand to his mouth as he stepped forwards and sank to his knees. Gently, carefully, he took the knife away and laid it on the counter next to the sink. "Oh, Gee, why didn't you tell me?"

Gerard has relapsed, and relapsed bad. Frank finds him sitting on the bathroom floor, hands shaking, thighs still shining red.

It’s always been quite a task to try and describe the feeling. There are moments of sexual tension, there are bouts of giddy butterflies, but more often than not, there is… this.
Laying here in the bunk squeezed so close (because this space is not designed for two adult men), it always holds the same feeling. It’s mossy green and gold and it feels like warm fleece right out of the drier. It smells like wet dirt and amber. It feels like home, even when they are God-only-knows how many miles away from home.
