Summary
There was once a time when gods walked the earth side by side with mortals, before the windy periods. The wind was a hard thing to control, needing constant care and attention. The breezes grew dull and uninteresting, there wasn’t a single spirit attached to the tides of air that rolled across the Earth.
The pantheon came to a unanimous decision, each coming upon their own terms that they would simply just ignore the winds. So the gods left it alone, eventually ceasing to will the breezes in and out. Unfortunately, to create a new deity to take care of the winds, a soul would be needed. A soul of someone who died too soon. Four souls across the centuries seemed to fit this description.

‘There it is,’ the brunet snaps his head back in place as if he were a soldier. Sam's tone of voice resembles a sleazy salesman in a wool suit on TV. ‘There it is, he wants something from you.’
“See, for my project, it's not very original, but I gotta choose someone in my life and make a home movie all about them.” As Sam explains, he widens his sapphire eyes, looking up at Edgar like he's one of the sad, stray, young dogs that would walk the boardwalk streets, “And I don't think you're like Molly Ringwald or Michael Fox or anything… but you make a pretty interesting character yourself.”
A fic where Sam joins the film club at his school and starts following Edgar around with his camera, much to his annoyance.
