"What does it feel like, to be warm?"
Aki inhaled sharply, the cold suddenly forgotten as his body grew hot. He said no words, instead rising to his feet. Angel watched him with that indifferent gaze he'd grown used to, save one thing: his eyes glimmered with emotion.
That warmth pooled in Aki's stomach, burning him from the inside out. He stepped towards the bed, stopping as his knees brushed against the covers. They stared at each other in silence for a moment, Aki's heart hammering in his ears as he considered what he was about to do.
He didn't want to think anymore. He wanted to feel.
He pulled the covers back, and lied beside the devil.

“Touch it,” Jabber instructs, suddenly. His voice is hushed and much too intimate, and it has Zanka's chest tightening and stomach churning.
He stumbles over his words, eyes flashing up from Jabber's lips, “What–”
“Just press your thumb into it,” Jabber assures again, lifting a hand to push the loose dreads on that side of his face over his head, out of the way. His voice is honest, but his expression turns into something flirtatious very quickly. “C'mon, don't make me beg.”
