Summary
Peter Parker remembers Titan. He remembers the planet’s unsteady gravity pull. He remembers Mr. Stark and Dr. Strange; and Mr. Quill and his assorted band of aliens, too. He remembers playing the most intense game of keep away with Thanos’ golden gauntlet as the token.
He doesn’t want to remember Titan. He doesn’t want to remember how Thanos called him an "insect" while the latter constricted his airways impossibly tight before throwing him like a football. He doesn’t want to remember how his nanite mask eventually ripped — and how the Titan quipped about his mortality before squeezing.
There’s nothing after that. At least at first.
Then— there’s light. Bright. Annoying. Incessant.
He must’ve forgotten to draw the curtain before collapsing on his bed, he thinks. He gets up begrudgingly—
He emerges from the depths of electric green.
"Welcome back, Gray Son."

Summary
"Angie, are you alright?" Peggy listened for any potential threats as she waited for her response. Eerily enough, there seemed to be no one in the house except for them two. If there was anyone else with them right now, they were certainly skilled enough to be undetectable.
"I’m okay!" The pitch of Angie’s voice was all over the place. "Where are you? Come—"
"—’m right here." She immediately surveyed the space before she even stepped onto the doorway. Much to her confusion, the only thing out of place was the shards of glass on the floor and the woven basket on the table. "What happened?"
Angie’s frantic eyes darted back to the basket before meeting hers. Without removing her hand over her heart, she responded, "Some heartless idiot left a babe at the door."

Summary
Marjorie Fay has hardened her heart early, thanks to the years she spent on Gotham’s streets. As such, apart from her mother and her guardian, she only ever loved two people before her nephew’s arrival into her life.
She lowers her inquisitive brow once a more likely inquiry dawns. "You mean why I named him ‘Peter’?"
"Yeah," Jason — her nephew’s only paternal uncle who seems aware of his existence — confirms with a nod.
She considers telling the entire truth about how her — their — nephew’s name came to be. She considers telling him about the Robin she shared the best parts of her childhood with and the amnesiac vagrant she unknowingly gave her heart to.
Then she decides against it. After all, Jason Todd-Wayne is no one to her. He doesn’t get the privilege to know meaningful things about her.
"There’s this bo—" she mentally curses at the almost slip-up— "book I loved when I was younger. Peter Pan."

Summary
When the fourth eldest of the Wayne children went to answer the doorbell, he never expected to see a child behind the heavy oak doors. Even more so for the said child to have completely green eyes and slightly orange-tinted complexion. "Can I help you?"
"Hello,” the small humanoid alien answers cheerfully. His eyes seem to glow brighter as he flashes a familiar smile worth of the original Boy Wonder. "I’m being chased. Can I please come in?"

Summary
Jason Todd isolates himself by choice. He just likes his peace and he wants to bask in it for as long as he can. When there’s no mission for Red Hood or mandatory public appearance for Jason Todd-Wayne, trust that no one knows his whereabouts until he resurfaces.
He protects his peace as fiercely as he protects his territory from the other Bats. And it’s certainly a choice to stop by Batburger after speeding off from a wrapped up Outlaws mission.
As a consequence of a choice he willingly made, he has no one else to blame for being caught red-handed. "Wait for me."
"No."
He braces himself for the inevitable push. Because if there’s one thing his siblings — on paper or otherwise — are collectively good at, it’s to be annoyingly persistent. "I wanna meet your kid."

Summary
Dick Grayson already knows his name. He has known it for some time now, ever since it fell from its bearer’s lips. And despite the apparent disuse, he doesn’t dare to let it go — nor does he wish to. After all, his name isn’t just a name. Not to him, anyway.
His name isn’t a secret, either. It just seems that way, given how Dick treasures it like an oath and elects not to share it with anyone else.
Frankly, a part of him thinks that he misheard then; that he only heard what he wanted to. However, it’s difficult to dismiss the definitive proof of how real his delusion is when it’s literally staring right back at him. In capitalized print.
PETER RICHARD GRAYSON.

Summary
Jason Todd dreams of a nephew who is a personification of his older brother and dear friend’s romance. He dreams of a world where he honors their will and raises their only living memory like his own.
He is not fond of dreaming, but he always looks forward to seeing another glimpse of his life as a husband and an uncle. A part of him longs for such a life, with no cape ever tied around his neck and no blood ever staining his hands; with no reason to become what he had to.
He never thought the universe still favors him, after all this time.
"You remind me of my Uncle Ben." Peter, the kid who bears too much resemblance with his nephew in another life, shrugs nonchalantly. "We used to bond by being nerds together."
Jason’s reaction comes out a little breathless, having to fight his instinct to come clean. He does not have the heart to lie straight to his nephew’s face. "Yeah?"

Summary
"Uncle Jay?" It’s a Robin. Not just any iteration, though. It’s Dick’s Robin — the same design Jason inherited during his own tenure. It’s not a perfect replica, but it’s certainly close enough that it can easily be mistaken for the original by the untrained.
Only this Robin seems disheveled with his white-streaked black hair sticking up all over the place and his domino mask missing a mesh. "I need help."

Summary
Dick Grayson dreams of a carbon copy with his love’s eyes and coloring. He dreams of a son from a world where he is never Robin or Nightwing and has no reason to be; never a Grayson or a Grayson-Wayne, but rather a Parker.
No one knows about his dreams involving an alternate reality where Jason is his only sibling and they are both unscathed and content. He intents for it to stay as a secret he carries close to his chest until his last breath.
Unfortunately, the universe sends its disapproval of his decision through a replica of his dream-son with Jason’s white streak hair and toxic green eyes.
"I’m Peter." Nightwing fights the urge to say I know. "Peter Park— Anders— Grayson."

Harley knows three things for sure:
1. He is the eldest of Tony and Pepper Potts-Stark’s three children.
2. His younger siblings are Pietro Cassidy and Alia Dashielle — born when he was three and six, respectively.
3. It has been years since they started a game of hide-and-seek and he has not found his siblings still.

Peter knows three things for sure:
1. He is Atasha Maybelle’s older brother and he is responsible for her unique first name.
2. They were adopted by Richard and Mary Parker when he was six and she was three.
3. He still gets nightmares about accidentally leaving— killing his sister in the dark, scary place.

Summary
Luke Cage moved closer to where the Avengers stood; where he could also watch what was happening in the other room. "I’m assuming no one from her usual team was informed that she was being interrogated today."
Everyone watched as Agent Collins declined the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agent’s invitation to sit down. Instead, she made herself comfortable by leaning on a wall with her arms crossed on her chest.
Tony Stark was beginning to see the reason for what his gut feeling actually meant. Purely based on what Cage just observed, Agent Robinson must’ve done something wrong to warrant Agent Collins’ deadly serious expression.
"What gave it away?" Steve Rogers was understandably intrigued.
"Everything," her guardian cryptically replied. He then gestured toward her rigid figure with his head, "Good luck getting any information out of her."

"Is this enough?" Howard Stark slides a thick white envelope across the table.
Virginia Potts has to admit, when her path crossed with Tony Stark, she never expected to end up at a cliched scene in her dorm mate’s Asian dramas.
"With all due respect, sir," she has to fight the urge to add, which is none, "but I don’t want your money."

Summary
Peter’s conclusion has four supporting evidence:
1. Horizon Junior High, despite not being a STEM-focused school, received an unprompted invitation to tour Stark Industries. Emphasis on unprompted invitation.
2. According to Ms. Sersi, Stark Industries’ tour invitation only specified one condition: he — Peter Parker — must be one of the attendees.
3. The AI on the ceiling only used his first name, but announced the rest of this batch mates with their full names.
4. The Avengers kept on coming up to him, all — except Ms. Black Widow and Mr. Hawkeye — with a knowing glint at the corners of their eyes. Like they knew something he didn’t.
His conclusion? They know.

Summary
Johan had no attachment to her middle name. She didn’t necessarily hate it, but she generally preferred if she wasn’t address as 'Anastasia.'
After all, Anastasia didn’t come back from HYDRA's clutches. As far as Johan was concerned, Anastasia died the same night her mother did.
However, there were days when Johan entertained a what-if. What if Anastasia was never kidnapped? What if Anastasia grew up without any life-altering trauma? What if Anastasia grew up normal? What if Anastasia lived?
On those days, Johan would be on a mission to live a fleeting moment from the life she was robbed of.

"Detective Jones," Steve Rogers gestured for her to take a seat, but she politely declined. "What brings you to the Tower?"
"I take it Johan’s not here," Jessica Jones opted to state her observation rather than to answer him directly. "You wouldn’t’ve asked me that otherwise."
"She’s not," Wanda Maximoff confirmed. "Most of us haven’t seen her since that day."
"Did something happen?" James Barnes cut through the chase. His voice was already laced with notable concern.

Summary
Agent Collins, at eleven years of age, was S.H.I.E.L.D.’s youngest recruit.
She was never the best soldier and, frankly, anyone who believed she would be the perfect agent was — for the lack of a better word — an idiot. In S.H.I.E.L.D.’s defense, no one even knew she got a wind of the mission concerning her former manipulator. So, they couldn’t’ve possibly forbidden her in participating.
Agent Collins wasn’t sure if she expected to see anyone when she turned, but she definitely didn’t expect to see the Avengers there. With them being in the premises, that meant only one thing: she just crashed into an Avengers’ mission. Uh-oh.
She was in for an intense earful once S.H.I.E.L.D. hears, for sure.

Summary
Miko was more than ready to spend faers much needed, meticulously planned self-care day.
However, right when she took a little break from her marathon did fae find out that faers relaxation was not meant to last.
"Himiko," the receptionist called faer over when she circled around the lobby for the third time, "what are you looking for?"
"I—" fae scratched her neck in embarrassment, "ADONIS said there are people waiting here, but I can’t find them."
The receptionist chuckled, "You’ve walked past them twice. They’re over there."
Miko followed the end of the receptionist’s pointer finger, but fae couldn’t comprehend why none of the people there were faers friends — nor anyone she knew, for that matter.
(Alternatively: All Himiko wanted was to have a stress-free self-care day; but then the universe delivered an answer for the question fae didn’t even ask.)

Summary
Miko is dead-set on living an ordinary life for two weeks straight. No intense trainings, no long meetings, no fatal missions — that’s her ultimate goal for this vacation: to be literally free from any potential stressors for the time being.
Yet, of course, those non-Phantom Thief Kids have other plans: which apparently includes ambushing a fellow passenger in the bus that’s supposed to take her to the van Dyne-Pym residence on broad daylight.
And so there goes faers hope of having a peaceful vacation — literally already out the window on the morning of her second day.
(Alternatively: Himiko just wanted to be a regular civilian for a couple of weeks, but the universe clearly thought otherwise.)
