Summary
Once spies of an organisation that deals with the currency of information and sells it to the highest bidder, Iwaizumi and Oikawa were its top agents and partners on and off the field, but when Oikawa was assigned a mission that required him to keep up an eight-year long marriage to a high-ranking executive, it tore their partnership apart.
Now, five years later, as agents are being picked off one by one by an unknown assassin, the organisation has reason to believe that Oikawa’s life is in danger or worse, at risk of having his identity exposed. To make sure the organisation is not compromised, Oikawa is assigned a security detail — the one person he never thought would walk out of his life. Iwaizumi must protect Oikawa as he investigates the assassinations, all the while navigating the unresolved hurt that they both bear.
