Alex blinked. After two weeks of hearing nothing but the voices of snooty men and frazzled secretaries calling in, the person on the other line now sounded decidedly neither snooty nor male nor in any way adult.
It was a little girl.
"Mr. Fox-Mountchristen's unfortunately in a meeting right now,” Alex began slowly, “but I could take a message?"
"Oh." The girl paused. "You're not Mr. Hunter."
Alex starts a new job as Henry's new assistant. Henry's daughter keeps calling the office and leaving him messages.

These guys are seriously whinging about women not giving them a chance and there’s only so much Nick can tune out. Gary has, as far as Nick can tell, brought him right into the middle of a huddle of straight guys freaking out about being straight. Why is he here?

George continued playing on the phones idly, as the employee set down the box he was holding, his hands shaking as he did so.
He was taken aback, feeling a foreign emotion— gay panic.

Eventually, he gathered enough courage to walk up to the incredibly adorable customer.
He cleared his throat before saying, "H-Hey, can I help you, uh, with anything?"

As the month stretches on, with one of their best friends closer to his side than ever, Dream finds themselves even further away than before the year began.
