The amount of tabs he had open couldn’t be possibly any good for his poor computer, but he refused to back down. He even watched videos of cancer survivors, writing down every single thing that could’ve possibly helped Colby through the side effects.
Sam was determined to get his best friend through this, no matter what it took. Because he fucking refused to lose Colby — he was convinced that letting him die meant letting a half of him die, too.

He wanted to hug Sam without feeling like he was somehow using his best friend. He wanted to look at Sam without letting his mind wander to places they weren't supposed to. And he wanted to be around Sam without feeling like he was suffocating.
Colby wanted all of this to stop. He just hoped God would've been merciful enough.

It's not every night that it happens, but when it does, he wakes up drenched in sweat, the urge to run and find Colby almost irresistible.
