“Possessed brat, Yuta Okkotsu.” Yuji hears himself say the words, feels his vocal cords spasm around a familiar vomit-inducing laugh. “Hn, not my first choice, but I’ll take what I can get.”

He figured that if it was important, it would either be on the morning news he put on while getting ready or one of his handlers would mention it in a meeting. Nobody broke world-ending information on Twitter.
Hawks could see the appeal, though. If he were stuck on the ground like the rest of the world, he’d probably get sucked in, too.
There was just something a lot more appealing than seeing Best Jeanist’s fifth ad of the day.
Hawks caught the wind in his wings, buffeting him up, higher than any of the civilians below him had ever gone without a plane, and he couldn't think of anything better, not even the constant buzzing in his pocket.

Gojo-sensei’s limbs are long. Yuta can’t help but fixate on this, for some reason. Of course, he knows that they would be, because Gojo is so much taller than most people, but for some reason it sticks to him. His arms are so long and gangly, hard to manage and clumsy whenever Yuta tries to use them. Everything about Gojo is so lanky.
And God, his eyes. How does he do it? Running around with eyes that see everything all the time. They're so sensitive all the damn time. He’d had a migraine from the moment he swapped into Gojo-sensei’s body, and it only dissipated when he’d managed to swap back.
Everything about him seems so… inhuman.

Itadori Yuuji lives on and the world keeps moving but it gets easier to disappear at least. He ends up closing his eyes sometimes to keep the exhaustion of long constancy at bay.
Then, on a cold, cold spring – a child's cry wakes him.
When he searches for the sound, he finds a familiar face.

On top of that, there’s probably something up with Itadori. But Megumi doesn’t want to think about his new roommate and best friend too much— well, more than he does already.

Because standing in the very not-destroyed, dense streets of Shibuya, lined with the bright colors of department stores, hotels, tourist attractions, and advertisements plastered across every available space, Yuuji did not have Choso as support. He didn't have Fushiguro as support. He didn't even have Okkotsu as support.
Yuuji was inconceivably, utmostly, wholly, not-awesomely fucked because he was in the year 2005.
🔴 OR: Stuck over a decade in the past, Yuuji has resolved to do anything to ensure his future doesn't come to be.
It would really be a lot easier if Geto Suguru wasn't so overbearing, if Gojo Satoru wasn't such an asshole, if Ieiri Shoko stopped instigating things, and if Yuuji were just a tiny bit smarter.
But he was on his own, so damn it if he wasn't going to work with what he got.
