You are cordially invited to attend her Lady of the Manor, Cleo Z. Clocker’s 50th deathday party. This year, alongside the usual meal and activities, we will also be organising a little game.
Attached you will find a card describing your role and a brief description of your character. Feel free to engage in role-play as little or as much as you like, but please do dress up in costume.

The vex grinned down at him, the expression just as sharp as it had been the evening before. He took a step away from Grian, raising his hands up in mock surrender as he looked almost on the verge of laughter.
"Calm down, little sheriff, I'm not going to hurt you yet."
Grian froze. Every single defence system he had ever created in his mind went up all at once, and he folded his arms in front of him as skills he'd spent years without using suddenly bubbled back up to the surface.

On the verge of losing his sister, Grian, an ex-sheriff with a past filled with mistakes, is forced to go on a journey with a vex who wants him dead, but when past enemies begin to get closer Grian has to decide whether or not to let go of what he holds most dear before it's taken away from him.Bookmarked by rae_xzy

Summary
Fridays were the worst, and Scar looked forward to them every week.
His shifts at the zoo were often arduous, and his legs always ached violently from the constant bustle, but Quiz Night always made his day better. Especially with all the turmoils of the city making everyone so jumpy, maybe even himself, he needed this time to be with friends, away from work and the rising rates of villains. And all he needed to do to get to that serenity was to grab his bag from the bird sanctuary and return to the safety of street lamps and his friendly security guard.
But that wasn’t what happened. Because Scar wasn’t alone that night.
Or, Scar, a down-on-his-luck bird specialist at a local zoo, found himself absolutely infatuated with the avian vigilante Phantom, for the appeal of crime was far too alluring to be ignored.Bookmarked by rae_xzy
