Summary
Zagreus is by no mean an ordinary man.
People can sense it ; yet cannot point out what is bugging them about the joyful and handsome son of the local florist and vegetables merchant.
That's curious, they think. His mother is as beautiful as he is, sharing bright spring green eye, but looks more natural, she isn't giving off this strange aura around her.
He, however, got a strange charisma ; just a smile and everyone is charmed, he mesmerized girls and boys with his stories about his adventures in deep forests.
Everyone at the surrounding villages know them. And yet, they don't. Time flows, and people forget them, and they come back, and the cycle go on endlessly.Such is the nature of the gods.

The sea held many secrets, many dangers, but also many treasures. Viktor Nikiforov, world’s most famous treasure diver, knew that all too well, but nothing has ever stopped him from exploring the sea.
However, there was one thing that Viktor strove to find: Atlantis. Some people believed that he was mad for believing that he could find the sunken city one day. So many other people have tried before and no one had come even close to the ruins that Plato told about.
He was going to prove how wrong everyone’s assumptions were.

Victor shivered in the cold, hands outstretched to the barely burning fire. Snow swirled slowly around him, wind whistling in his ear. Whistling what? He couldn’t tell. He couldn’t even tell where he was - somewhere in Eastern China, surrounded by tree and mountains, the enemy to the south and the home he could never return to in the north. Victor had nowhere to go.
His hands trembled - he wasn’t sure if it was from the cold or from fear. He had plenty to be frightened of; the gunfire from Mukden, the threat of being caught and executed for desertion, starvation, the brutal elements …
And the Japanese man asleep across the fire, hand clenched tight around the pistol that never left his sight.
Victor was very much afraid of him.

Summary
Victor Nikiforov is dead.
The news hits Yuuri like a punch to the gut, but despite the death of his idol and goal, he decides to continue with his plans to compete the upcoming season.
But when Yuuri arrives at his first Grand Prix assignment of the year several months later, the Rostelecom Cup in Russia, which is being held at the same arena Victor died in, he discovers that there may be more to Victor's death than first appeared.
Trapped between the world of the living and the world of the dead, Victor appears to Yuuri and reveals to him that he believes that there's only one way he can be brought back, and that Yuuri is the only person capable of helping him.

"Whenever they lose something, it ends up with you. Even if you're across the world from eachother. This is why I wanted to talk to you about this. Because I don't remember anyone ever buying you those toys over there." She jolted her head in the direction of the box near the wall.
Yuuri's eyes widen at the realisation. Normally, he'd be mad if someone went through his box of magic things but after finding out the reason he has them, it didn't even matter anymore."MAMA! I have a soulmate?!"
"Unless you stole all of that from somewhere, yes."
Yuuri and Viktor both grew up knowing they had a soulmate, but the only way to find out what kind of person the other person was, was through the things they lost or misplaced. A lot of people will never find their other half, but these pair are determined.

Summary

Summary
He's been a star from the beginning. Both of his parents, Yakov, and all those around him, everybody who has seen him skate, knows it. Viktor, however, continues to see himself as nothing but a potential rising star. After all, he's only sixteen and is just making his senior debut. He can't be as good as everybody seems to be making him out to be, ignoring the small (large) collection of gold medals that he has. As such, all he wants to do is focus on improving and living up to the expectations thrown at him on and off the ice.
However, only a few months before the start of his first senior Grand Prix series, a sharp blue smears itself right above his clavicle. Only in his dreams can it be bruise. The late appearance of a soulmark is enough to knock Viktor a little off balance mentally.
This isn't to say that Viktor will reject his soulmate. In fact, he's willing to go above and beyond to do all he can for whoever they may be, but first, he's going to claw his way to the top. If everybody expects him to be a star, then so be it. He'll be the star that they want, and once he's at the top, nobody will be able to stop him from giving his all to whoever shares his mark. After all, he is Viktor Nikiforov.
