What is a ‘God’?
Gods, Kim Soleum thinks, are simply beings who have loved too much. But so, too, can gods fall out of love.
There had once been many gods, though for reasons lost to memory they departed, one by one. What had once been a vibrant community became only a solitary figure, Soleum, wandering through the desolate halls of the [Darkness Exploration Records] archive, endlessly browsing through the desolate remnants of a wiki once dearly loved.
Yet even he, steady as he was, could not sustain the archive’s immensity alone. Without visitors or communal effort to generate energy, the great engine of the archive grew heavy and inert. If the archive is to survive, he’ll need to do something more.

Ryu Jaekwan had not heard of this disaster before, though it made sense as it was managed by that company. Barely any record of it was held in the Bureau’s storage, that’s how rare it was for a civilian to get trapped in there. Heck, there weren’t even flyers from the Bureau in there.
Therefore, there was no reason why the Disaster Management Bureau should’ve received a tip and a request for a rescue operation from the Late Night Talk Show disaster, especially from an anonymous source.
