“Geto-san,” Gojo snorts. “So polite towards a guy who deserted.” The bitterness in his voice is so strong that it makes Kento flinch. “No, I wasn’t in love with Suguru. I never loved anyone, at least not yet.” Gojo is wearing his glasses, and he slides it down the bridge of his nose to stare at Kento. “But you, I could love you.”
He says it in a way that is so casual, like he is talking about the meal they just had. It’s not a joke, or teasing – Gojo is serious. Kento should take it as an offense, it almost feels dismissive. Instead, he feels his heart start beating faster, but he has years of concealing his own feelings to let them show now.
“Because I’m so easy to love?” He asks, sarcastic.
“No.” Gojo shakes his head. “I could love you because you would never love me back. And that is what I need.”

“Why don’t you take some time? Think it over,” Gojo spoke as he scribbled on the napkin that came with Nanami’s whisky. He wrote his phone number and his name with a little ‘x’ beside it. “And when you change your mind, call me. Anytime, even if it’s late. I don’t mind.”
Gojo’s tone in the last sentence could be described as nothing less than sensual. All of this was unbelievably unprofessional and inappropriate but that wasn’t what made Nanami burn. Gojo was supposed to be unprofessional. Inappropriate. Downright ludicrous on occasion, but he was meant to do all of that to Nanami, not this stranger in a suit. Not him, but Nanami.
Alternate Summary: Gojo goes on a recruitment mission to pull a certain lawyer into the sorcerer ranks but his tactics of persuasion only seem to illicit a reaction from Nanami. A reaction that only seems to grow with every touch, glance, and flirtation shared between Gojo and Higuruma.
