Summary
The three brothers, Flame, Wemmbu, and Spoke suffered knowing their oldest brother was going to die; a prophecy waiting to happen. Parrot was suffering from a generational curse slowly killing him. As the only one inheriting pure avian blood from his mother's lineage, he was bound to the Goddess of Death.
The non-avian brothers didn't inherit the curse, as superior hybrid genes took over their biology. The three brothers were spared, but it hurt them either way, Parrot was going to die, and they could only slow the progress. They learned the hard way that the Gods are cruel and unfair.
Gods know they tried so hard to help him and repay their debts, but in the end, he still died earlier than most victims.
This is the story of a broken honor, a failed promise, a guilt, and a lie.

The pain and feelings of the three brothers from childhood to Parrot's death, their own perspectives on it all. While the King's knight was lied to by his King for his own good, driving him to despair that he couldn't even be the King's blade.

Summary
In the midst of the battle for high water, Theo boldly scarified himself for the king of Unstable, Parrot. Parrot was destroyed for now he was left without his best friend and sword. Added on with the backstabbing--literally--of his two younger brothers whom Parrot had raised himself, Parrot was currently left with emotions of utter devastation and treachery. Perhaps because of this state of mind, Parrot was led down a dark Path.
Due to this, the tides of the war had changed, but not in favor of Cindercrest nor for Arachnid--but in favor of Parrot whom put away kindness and adopted a trait of wanting to win. At any cost. But how can one death change an entire kingdom's destiny?
