Summary
In the last year Damian has grown so rapidly and unexpectedly that he has had to alter just about half of his life. He feels grown, standing eye to eye with Dick and growing rapidly uncomfortable in the childish robin uniform. He’s broadened during the last year, shoulders stretching across and his limbs growing heavier and sturdier. His uniform looks ridiculous on a body which is more similar to Batman’s than it is to the slim, lithe body of a Robin.
Damian feels clumsy and heavy footed, his body has lost any of the grace that comes with lean, short limbs and rigorous assassins training. When he looks in the mirror, Damian feels a sense of dread wrap itself around him. A sick sort of disgust that has him avoiding the large mirrors on the walls of his wardrobe and wincing at whatever Robin photos Drake shows them.
OR; Damian grows up to have the sturdy, towering build of his Father, and decidedly does not like it.

Summary
Damian had grown up learning English. He had strange tutors with heavy British accents who were fired because Damian could never speak in accented English. He had been read the most influential English novels, he had visited and conversed in English speaking countries.
His gruelling hours of English grammatical and pronunciation work ended upon the arrival of Jason Todd.
Or: Jason Todd is the best native English speaker they have at the league, Damian has never had a class like this before

Summary
The league trains its assassins to endure all climates. They are sent out in the Arabian deserts, to humid rainforests and to Antarctic planes. Damian himself was put in climate-chambers where he would sit silently for hours in various pseudo-climates.
So he has no idea why the Gotham winter cold is affecting him so badly.
Or; Damian struggles to adapt to the freezing temperatures of his first Gotham winter, and his siblings try to work out why he is acting so strangely.

Summary
Their mornings were spent dragging the duvet on the dusty concrete floor, warding off the chill of an unheated apartment. Shoulder to shoulder, warmth staying cradled as they moved as a unit. Make coffee, brush teeth, brush hair. Together, together, together.
They came home from work on the same train, at different stops. Nagini gets on first, awkward in the vulnerability of being alone, and slides her hand bag onto the seat. Keeping her head down to avoid the condemning glares of passengers until Remus gets on, with rain dripping from his fringe onto the dip of his collarbones.
He would smile down at her, not a toothy grin like the other young couples she sees together. Something softer, less new, less bright, less awed.
He smiles and his cheeks dimple, he smiles and her head rises.
The story did not start here, the story will not end here. This place is a beautiful reprieve. This is a haven.

Robin Reversal AU. It is the year 2019, Damian's father is dead, and he's left with the legacy of Batman and a small child with crystal blue eyes. It is the year 2004, and Damian is a Muslim in post-9/11 America, son to a cryptid who works alone and doesn't realize that a Batman needs a partner. It is the year 2018, and a criminal called the Red Hood is terrorizing Damian's broken family. It is the year 2012, and Damian's father has replaced him with the neighbor next door. It is 2006 and Damian meets an alien who's also just a kid, it is 2011 and Damian is in love with an alien. It is hard being the oldest son and heir to an idiot, but Damian has Young Justice behind him and his future ahead of him. He'll cope.
