至尊小超人打破起源牆後，Jason Todd因而復活。
然而這場死而復生的歸來，不是時間變異管理局(TVA)神聖時間線下「應該」發生的，只是因為至尊小超人造成的如同末日一般的災難使得這個「變異」不會產生新的多重時間線，因而未被察覺。
在洛基的幫助下，TVA發現這個bug，並決定要修復，於是派出大量人力前往各種末日前的時間軸，尋找可能躲藏於其中的時間逃犯。
當他們來到高譚時，經過搜索發現似乎確實有不被允許發生的變異，他們開始展開調查⋯
