“I guess my dreams wake me up,” he answered, wary of the fine line between being polite and over-sharing.
“Nightmares?”
Daichi thought about the wisp of silver he saw right before opening his eyes. “Definitely not.”
Every night, Daichi dreams of Suga. Every day, he's reminded that dreams are all he has left.At least he thought they were, right up until the day he ran into someone who couldn't have been anyone else.

Being a shifter doesn't really affect Daichi's life. He isn't forced into it like werewolves on full moons, and the process is not nearly as horrific as mainstream media makes it out to be. He has a career, house, social life and, most importantly, two loving partners.
Unfortunately for him, he can only go so long without shifting.

Summary
Suga bit the inside of his cheek and wondered about the nature of advice, given and received, while he observed Tanaka play. Tanaka had ignored his senior by continuing to vocally intimidate the ball, but Suga swore he saw him hold back at least twice over the course of practice.
That observation led to more questions. If Tanaka wanted to scream on the court and proved he was learning, what would be the point in trying to change him? Who wouldn’t be envious of someone who could remain so true to himself?
And when did he start thinking Tanaka was cute?
