Summary
While renting himself out to pay for med school, twenty-four year old Dennis Whitaker meets fifty-four year old Michael Robinavitch. A quiet, unassuming doctor, so unlike his other patrons. What began as an agreement of simple convenience- Dennis's companionship for Robby's support- develops into something real as Robby becomes more than a client and their relationship becomes more than a simple contract.

Robby lowers himself to his knees.
An impenitent sinner prostrating at the altar of an unworthy god.
Fingers skim Dennis’s waistband—an offering.
“I’m gonna take care of you,” Robby murmurs, hooking around the elastic, pulling it taut against his hipbones. “And you’re gonna let me.”

Summary
Robby has gone from barely being able to watch to not wanting to even blink. He can’t keep his eyes from darting down to where Whitaker’s thighs grip the saddle, how he slides forwards on it with every downward bow of the bull and back as it pushes up. Again and again and again, he rolls with the mechanical bull with a single circular fluid motion.
It crosses his mind that this might be one of the hottest things he’s ever seen. He doesn’t even try to unpack that thought, it doesn’t even feel like an opinion he can change. It’s just a fact. Whitaker on the mechanical bull is one of the hottest things he’s ever seen.
-
It’s Javadi’s twenty-first birthday party and the Pitt team hit the cowboy themed bar downtown. Whitaker gets on the mechanical bull.
One thing leads to another.

Summary
As Robby lifts his shirt up, Dennis is overcome with the need to bury his face in his armpit until he passes out. The gold chain with its Star of David that he always wears rests just below his collar. As Robby strips off, Dennis allows himself a longing look.
Yeah, Dennis admits to himself, he’s down pretty bad.
He’s certain that the fishing trips his brothers took with their dad didn’t have this additional complication – that of the man taking them being so hot they’d want to cry. Trinity’s comment, ‘daddy wants to take you to the woodshed,’ bounces around in Dennis’s head.
-Robby takes Dennis out on a fishing trip. Neither of them expected it to end this way.

Bookmarker's Notes
"Are you religious?" Robby asked, smiling softly when the parents shook their heads. "Neither am I."
And Dennis had felt the Star of David drag between his shoulder blades enough to know that wasn't the whole truth.
But then again, his cross had found a home in the dip of Robby's throat enough for him to taste the hypocrisy in his thought.
