The second Minho turned his head, he screamed, stumbling backwards and tripping over the leg of his couch.
Sitting right there on his living room floor was a man. A very naked man at that, with two antennae bobbing around on top of his head and twice as many arms as he should've had hugging his knees to his chest.
"Sorry! I'm sorry, I'm sorry," the man rushed to say, his big, wet eyes terrified and pleading for Minho to spare his life.
He was a hybrid. A. . . bug hybrid?
Just when Minho was starting to think he would never find someone worth loving, his soulmate fell right into the palm of his hand. And then onto the floor. Way too close to his cat.

Summary
Over a year ago, Minho inherited a struggling coffee shop, cheesily named ‘Perk Up, Love’ by his mother, from his late parents. Jisung, his best friend since childhood, lives with him in the apartment above the shop.
Minho’s dream is to turn the struggling coffee shop into a success to honor his parents’ legacy. Jisung’s dream is to share his love of literature and reading with the world.
As they closely work together in hopes of turning Perk Up, Love into a success, their more-than-platonic feelings for each other begin to become increasingly apparent and harder to keep contained.

Summary
The man’s face makes a space for itself in the crook of Jisung’s neck, and Jisung freezes in fear again. He can feel the man’s breath against his sensitive, sweaty skin. Summary
Heart pounding in his chest, Minho has to forcibly suppress the automatic growl threatening to leave him. Some alpha must’ve broken in. Why is the scent so strong? It’s everywhere and heavy, like they’re worked up, or… turned on?
Following the scent, Minho hurriedly bypasses the empty living room. Their bedroom door is open, and Minho’s hands naturally clench into fists as he enters the room, expecting the worst.
The only thing he sees is Jisung lying on their bed—alone, naked, and covered in sweat. Minho’s brows furrow as his brain tries to assess the situation. The scent is overwhelmingly strong here, an alpha in rut. Jisung’s hips are moving. Minho steps closer to see why, but there’s only a pillow...
Minho presented as an alpha at the age of eighteen, and that made him a late bloomer. To be twenty-four and unpresented, like Jisung is? You have to either be a beta, or a complete biological marvel.
With betas being the most common secondary gender by far, alphas and omegas tend to end up in relationships with betas. Being an alpha-beta couple has always worked wonderfully for Minho and Jisung.
